Often, locks and cylinders are talked about as if they were the same, but they are different and complementary parts:
- The lock is the complete mechanism installed in the door that allows closing and locking.
- The cylinder (or barrel) is the part where the key is inserted, and it is the piece that most influences security against intrusion techniques such as bumping or picking.
We also perform conversions to European profile, which allows updating old locks without changing the whole door. This system is very versatile: it offers a wide range of security cylinders with different protection levels and prices.
